Save The Grief

April 17, 2011

There are a few simple things you can get ready before your wedding to make you photo sessions go faster. A day or so before the wedding put together a little packet for your photog.

Things to include:
*wedding invitation
*ceremony program
*reception menu
*business cards from all professionals you used (florist, bakery, etc) so the photog can give proper credit in online photos
*an extra copy of your vows (if personally written)
*a love note or two from early in your relationship
*any piece of paper connected to your wedding with special meaning to the couple

All these things can be (and will be) used in your photos, so make sure your photog has them when they walk in the door. That way you don’t have to spend time searching for them. It also ensures you won’t miss anything in your photos.

Preparation is key. Plan ahead and everything will run smoothly, efficiently and quickly. Don’t plan ahead and you end up scrambling to find things and you end up frustrated. A few minutes the day before the wedding saves you a lot of grief at the wedding. ❤
